About Radio Basel
Radio Basel is one of Switzerland’s most prominent internet radio stations. Every day, they add new and interesting music from Switzerland to their playlist. Radio Base l broadcasts live from their own gorgeous radio station.
The ownership of Basel's local radio station, Radio Basel, has changed. Its owner, German Karlheinz Kögel, sold the station's assets to the German-speaking Ringier and NRJ Group. Following the change of capital, Radio Basel will become Energy Basel on Friday, January 13. A fresh international development for the NRJ Group, coming three months following the company's debut in Greece. Thus, the station takes the NRJ trademark, which is already existent in Zurich and Bern, German-speaking Switzerland. The NRJ brand therefore obtains four new frequencies. The entire system will be rebuilt so that Energy Basel can attract a younger, more urban audience to the Basel region.
