About Radio Swiss Classic
SRG SSR established Radio Swiss Classic, a peaceful classical music program. We play the most beautiful and popular compositions in classical music around the clock, ad-free. Our objective is to play music rather than speak about it, thus our presenters only announce the title, composer, and performer. Furthermore, Radio Swiss Classic makes a special effort to promote concerts by Swiss performers. As a result, Radio Swiss Classic often broadcasts recordings by several Swiss groups and soloists alongside some of the world’s most recognized orchestras.
